Than told Dan Tri online newspaper that the Miss World Vietnamese pageants held in Asia, Europe and North America needs more time to call for contestants. Organisers, Tien Phong newspaper and the Vinapearl Land company, have been unable to prepare the contest in time for this year.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Tien Tho says that Khanh Hoa province and the organizers of this pageant are yet to report the cancellation to the Ministry.
