Cambodian art exhibition opens in Hanoi
The exhibition, part of the Cambodian Cultural Week, is co-organised by the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.
The event, the second of its kind, showcased 32 traditional paintings in various types, ranging from lacquer and sculpture to weaving works, which draws inspiration from Cambodia’s legends, epics and folk songs.
It aims to improve the Vietnamese people’s understanding about Cambodia, a country with thousand-year rich cultural assets, including temples, churches, traditional music, arts and sculpture works.
